Accreditations Look up the word “go-getter” in the dictionary and you might as well see a picture of D.J. Heckes, owner of EXHIB-IT! Tradeshow Marketing Experts and Full BRAIN Marketing.
CEO/Owner of EXHIB-IT!, a GSA Certified, woman-owned small business headquartered in Albuquerque, NM. EXHIB-IT! was founded and organized by DJ Heckes, for the express purpose of providing quality products with exhibit marketing and design services to federal agencies and commercial enterprises. Full BRAIN Marketing, LLC was founded in 2010 after DJ published her first marketing book.
DJ’s Public Image DJ’s book full BRAIN marketing discusses how, if done properly, marketing can be accomplished more easily and with a far greater rate of success. The book explores & uncovers some of the ways to tie in traditional, digital and social media marketing to lead a business to success and avoid unnecessary mistakes, obstacles and easily avoided failures. With today’s hypercompetitive environment, it is even more prevalent than ever before to be a forward thinker and a visionary leader in marketing for one’s business.
DJ speaks on motivational and inspirational topics and thoroughly enjoys sharing her knowledge in branding, marketing strategies, leadership and diversity training, organizational management. She speaks and lives by the E-Myth principles of how to grow your business to work on your business more than work in your business. She plays an active role both locally and nationally in supporting small businesses and has mentored over 40 American Marketing Association Chapter Presidents in addition to being a mentor for small businesses both in state and out of state through Mentor/Mentee programs.
DJ is actively involved in seven chambers in the States of New Mexico and Texas. She is the current 2011 President for KeepitQUERQUE – Albuquerque Independent Business Alliance, Past President of the American Marketing Association, New Mexico Chapter and won Chapter of the Year for 2005 for our NM Chapter. Her many volunteer roles include Ambassador for the Albuquerque Economic Development and Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, in addition to having served a three year term on the National Professional Chapter Council Board for the American Marketing Association. She is also active in the National Association of Women Business Owners, E-Women Communications, Women in Communications and is a Past President of the NM American Marketing Association and incoming President for Albuquerque Independent Business Alliance (buy local. stay local.) DJ believes in being active in the community to help show that small businesses can have big impact in growing New Mexico!
She is firmly committed to growing local business opportunities through involvement and dedication. Marketing and strategic growth are her passions and are what have driven her company to the success it has achieved since opening in February 2000.
